Life after VNS...

A little over a week ago our precious son Jay had a life changing procedure to help his seizures.  He had a Vagus Nerve Stimulator placed to help regulate his brain activity and hopefully cut down his seizures.  God is GREAT and we have seen some amazing results so far!  Today is going to be about Jay.  His life after VNS and the return of his beautiful smile!  We love you buddy and know that you can conquer the world.  Special love to his Sugar for never giving up on him!

The Expsore Triangle!

These two weeks we have been working on the exposure triangle.  Life has frankly gotten in the way lately, we have been extra busy with the kids and trying to catch up after snow days 2014!  We have a busy week ahead and Jay has his big VNS surgery this Thursday.  So good thoughts and prayers are appreciated.  My in laws are coming to help out during the surgery and visit us tomorrow.  I am hoping to capitalize on this and take some pictures of the kids with them.  So check back at the end of the weekend for more photos.  Please bare with me as I perfect the exposure triangle!

Snow Day!

We got hit by the snow storm that felt like it never ended this week.  Even daddy got a day and a half off work due to this beautiful and wild storm.  These pictures capture our snow days together.

My class homework for the week is working with aperture priority and ISO settings.  So we were tasked with taking "action shots".  I will have to admit I struggled some working the aperture and ISO out with the super bright snow and clouds.  But touche!  Enjoy.
